About Hanna
Hanna provides counsel to domestic and international clients on the full range of employment and labour law matters. Her expertise spans executive employment agreements and their termination, transactional employment law, and general employment law advice, with particular experience in business immigration, termination negotiations, collective terminations of employment, and remote work arrangements. She has advised numerous companies on business immigration matters, facilitating the relocation of employees to Finland.
Hanna regularly advises clients on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including large-scale acquisitions involving the transfer of several hundred employees across multiple locations, and cross-border deals involving international workforces spanning multiple jurisdictions. She also has hands-on experience in designing bespoke engagement models for external consultants involving complex regulatory considerations.
Hanna also has experience representing clients in employment disputes, including litigation concerning termination of employment and discrimination claims.

- Advised an international engineering company entering the Finnish market on a major construction project, building out its Finnish employment law infrastructure from the ground up, including employment agreement documentation, complex working time arrangements, and business immigration for specialist personnel.
- Represented a Kesko Group company in a dispute brought by a former employee concerning termination of employment and alleged discrimination on the basis of health status, resulting in the dismissal of the vast majority of the claims.
- Advised on several transactions in the property and housing management services sector, including transfer of business aspects, among them two large-scale transactions of significance for the sector, which involved advising major companies on the acquisitions of businesses employing several hundred professionals across multiple locations in Finland.
- Advised a significant Finnish health service company on designing and implementing a bespoke model for engaging temporary workers and consultants, covering employment regulations, agreement design, healthcare compliance, and data protection and patient privacy safeguards.
- Advised a technology company belonging to a world-leading consumer technology group on its response to the theft of a trade secret by an employee.
- Advised RINA, the multinational engineering consultancy, inspection and certification group, on the employment law aspects of its acquisition of Foreship Group, a Helsinki-headquartered naval architecture and marine engineering company with professionals across eight global offices.
