Olli Latvasaho

Olli is a Senior Associate and attorney-at-law in our Restructuring & Insolvency practice, with extensive experience in Finnish insolvency proceedings. He is appointed to act as administrator of bankruptcy estates, as a state-appointed public receiver in publicly funded bankruptcy administrations, as liquidator of limited liability companies, and as supervisor of the implementation of corporate restructuring programmes.

Olli has particular expertise in company law, with a specific focus on matters concerning the liability for damages of the board of directors and managing director of limited liability companies. He is an active litigator who has conducted numerous recovery and claw-back actions and damages claims before the district courts.

Olli’s assignments have included advising listed companies, and he has acted in bankruptcy proceedings across the aviation, retail and heavy industry sectors. He has also developed considerable expertise in the restructuring of distressed real estate portfolios, with a particular focus on hotel properties and shopping centres.

In addition to his practice, Olli is completing a doctoral dissertation at the University of Turku on the liability of the management of limited liability companies for damages.

He has also gained experience working as a Commercial and Legal Advisor at the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
